From 24 January 2015 family claims have been expanded to 26 jobcentres in the following areas - Ashton-Under-Lyne, Wigan, Oldham, Hyde, Stalybridge, Stretford, Altrincham, Southport, Crosby, Bootle, Preston, Leyland, Prestwich, Bury, Eccles, Worsley, Huyton, Kirkby, St Helen’s, Newton-le-Willows, Hammersmith, Bath, Rugby, Shotton, Harrogate and Inverness.

The DWP goes on to confirm that from 2 March 2015 family claims will be expanded to the remaining sites that went live up until the end of 2014, meaning that all of these areas will be taking claims from single people, couples and families.
