November 2015 New National Minimum Wage Rates

From 1 October the National Minimum Wage(NMW) rates were increased as follows

For adult workers aged 22 or over £6.70 an hour

 

For workers aged between 18 and 21 £5.30 an hour

 

For workers aged under 18 who have ceased to be of compulsory school age £3.87

 

For apprentices employed under a contract of apprenticeship £3.30 an hour

 

Note the NMW is due to be replaced by the National Living Wage from April 2016.
